Natural gas is plentiful and is considered to be the cleanest and mist efficient of the tree major fossil fuels.

It emits 40% less carbon dioxides than coal for the same energy produced. It is more flexible and cleaner burning than coal.

It can be used in conjunction with a renewable source, such as wind or solar power, to provide a constant supply to the grid
